The research that has been done (the most enlightening dates back to 2006) found that only 17 percent of men have had their nipples played with during sex, compared to 59 percent of women. Male and female nipples are anatomically similar in that they both have milk ducts, and both types of breasts contain mammary tissues. “Male and female nipples both contain a dense supply of nerves that function as a major stimulatory organ,” explains Tyomi. “The difference is that the nerve network in the male nipple is denser, which means the sensory response to stimuli is typically more discreet. Male nipples are no less sensitive to stimulation than female nipples.”
