My boyfriend has had problems with the larger ball gags for the longest time, so every-time we order a ball gag, it never seems to be able to work with us, so I’ve been eyeing this set for awhile. The Interchangeable Silicone Ball Gag Set seemed like a great way to work from small up to the larger ball gags so we’d be able to play with some of the larger ball gags that most toys use.

The Interchangeable Silicone Ball Gag Set set comes with a leather head strap and three different ball gags to go with the strap. Each ball gag comes with leather through the ball and snaps one each end of the leather to allow it to snap into the head strap. Each ball gag is made out of non-toxic plastic and slowly increases in size as you get larger.

The packaging is very simple. It’s just a white box with a girl wearing the ball on the cover. She’s fully clothed in all of the pictures of her, so it’s not horribly adult, but it does proclaim that it’s a ball gag set all over it, so it’s not discreet either. However, the packaging is very tasteful.

The gags vary in sizes. The smallest one is 1.25 inches in diameter. The medium one is 1.75 inches in diameter. The largest one is 2 inches in diameter. Those are all pretty standard sizes for most ball gags. Two inches will be hard for most people to take without any practice, and 1.25 is probably a little small for most. I wish it had includeda 1.5 since that’s where most people seem comfortable with a ball gag for the first time. However, all of these sizes do gradually go up, so it does achieve the purpose it was going for.

The biggest problem with these ball gags is the fact that they smell of plastic. It’s not the most horrid ones I’ve ever smelled, but it’s definitely noticable when you have them in. You’d think this is something the company would have considered since ball gags go so near your face and all, but they didn’t. With some time spent in some water soaking as well as being washed down with some soap, the smell should slowly start to disappear, so don’t plan to use these gags straight out of the box.

Another thing: Some of the plastic holes in the balls were not completely cleared of plastic scraps. Before you decide to use a ball gag, please make sure that you run a knife/something in the holes to get out the remaining plastic scraps. They’d scratch up your bottom’s mouth as well as it may lead to your partner possibly inhaling them.

On that note, I was impressed with the holes in the gags. Breathing with a ball gag in is something that many people do have a problem with, so I was impressed that these gags did include the holes required to breathe. The holes do work well for breathing as long as you are wearing the gag correctly. If you aren’t, none of the holes will be situated where you will need to be breathing from.

The Ball Gag Training System from the Fetish Fantasys series works pretty well when it comes to use. The leather strap includes two d-rings on each end, and you unsnap the ball gag’s snap then slide the leather piece into the d-ring, then snap it shut. The ball gags do slide along the piece of leather that they are situated on, so you can adjust the ball gag to go directly in the person’s mouth if it’s a little crooked. No ammount of pressure is going to remove that ball gag from the leather head strap unless you specifically want it to. The strap itself buckles in the back just like a regular belt buckle. It’s not locking.

The backside of the leather is very soft, so this is comfortable for the user to wear. There aren’t any hard pieces of leather or any rivets that poke into the wearer’s head while the person is using the ball gag. This leather piece can fit anyone’s head – it goes up to gigantic – big enough to strap around my boyfriend’s thigh, so this will adjuts to fit any sized head.

It’s very easy to change out the gags from the leather headpiece, but you can’t do it while the person is wearing the headpiece unless you just want to deal with a large pain in the butt. It’s much easier to just take it off before you try changing it out.

For those of you that don’t know how to use a ball gag: Put the gag in your partner’s mouth. Let them get situated. You go behind your partner, and your partner hands you the two straps for you to buckle it behind their head. It should be tight enough that they can’t spit it out but not so tight that it hurts. Check with your partner to make sure it fits those criteria. If playing with a ball gag in, you should always have an alternative safe word. Possibly have your partner hold some keys and if they need to speak to you, they can jingle the keys. Also, a ball gag, as hot as it is, should not be worn for more than 30 minutes at a time for a beginner and about an hour for advanced users. Without the jaw being used to it, you could hurt your mouth.

The set also comes with a blindfold, but so does all of the Fetish Fantasy’s products. It’s not of amazing quality, but it’s still a blindfold.

Overall, this Ball Gag Training System works best for those who are inexperienced with ball gags and require something small to start off with. This is probably not a good choice for someone who is looking to move up to more advanced ball gags.
